Poseidon Base
Our first base is located on the grounds of the beautifully located "Posejdon" Holiday Centre in Jastarnia. It is the only one with its own sandy beach and a 220-metre-long pier on the side of the Bay of Puck, which is a great observation point. The peaceful surroundings, the silence disturbed only by the sound of the waves and the indescribable atmosphere of the place will make your time here certainly unforgettable! We are the only school within a 2km radius, which gives us the ability to provide our students with a safe and peaceful learning experience.
Acreage
Up to 500m from the shore, the water depth does not exceed 1.5m. With the youngest children, we train them close to the shore so that they feel safe and parents can observe their successes. There are no unexpected shallows or depths in our area. At the end of the jetty, the depth is about 80cm and is steadily but gently increasing. So you can enjoy swimming even on a board with the longest ballast. The bottom is sandy everywhere, so there is no need to swim in shoes.
Only at our school do you have the opportunity to use such a large body of water. As a result, we are able to ensure a high level of safety and comfort for our students, including the youngest ones.
Base
Board racks and sail hangers are located right on the water, so there is no need to carry equipment from further distances. The sandy beach on the Bay side is only accessible to resort and school guests. The intimacy of this place cannot be overestimated and this is what makes it so often chosen by families with children. You can really relax here 🙂 Right next to the base, a playground and the largest sandpit - the beach - await the youngest 🙂
Team
We place high demands on our instructors. Each of them must have a current licence and experience of working on the water. Most of them are graduates of the Academy of Physical Education, so they have an excellent background and pedagogical training. We provide training in English, German, Russian and sometimes even Italian and Spanish. You can meet all 12 instructors from the Poseidon base in the About us section
